Ceramic Rope Seal (Glass Rope)

Ceramic rope seal is used as a sealing agent.

CERAMIC ROPE SEAL

Ceramic rope is used as a packing, sealing and in insulation applications. Ceramic Rope can withstand high temperatures up to 1260°C. In addition to having low thermal conductivity ceramic rope is also recognized for being lightweight, chemical resistant and fire resistant.

GLASS FIBRE LAGGING ROPE

Rope lagging is made from a core of parallel glass fibre strands enclosed in a braided cover of glass yarn.  Lagging ropes are very soft and pliable with excellent thermal insulation properties and resistance to oils, solvents and most chemicals. Resistant to 500°C.

Applications include as packing expansion joints, sealing and gap filling between fire backs and fire surrounds, as well as for wrapping around flues and hot pipes as an insulation layer.
