Diaphragms

Diaphragms are used in pumps, actuators, hydro-accumulators, valves, and regulators. They are generally either flat, convoluted or dished depending on the application.

Diaphragm valves consist of a valve body with two or more parts, a diaphragm, and a “weir or saddle” upon which the diaphragm closes the valve. The diaphragm valve is usually used to isolate or block flow. These diaphragm valves are used in the bio-pharmaceutical industry by using compliant materials that can withstand sanitizing and sterilizing methods. Advanced Technical Concepts offer replacements diaphragms for ITT®, Saunders® and Gemü™ valves. Precision fit and designed for these valves, our diaphragms deliver exceptional performance in today’s demanding pharmaceutical processing environment. They are also used in the food industry.
